Scott Eichler
Scott is a career creative professional and artist based in Atlanta, having journeyed through the creative capitals of Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and Dallas, each city leaving its mark on his artistic voice.
Initially drawn to art as a young student, Scott pursued a career in fashion, textile and product design before ascending to creative director roles over product design and branding for major US media companies, including MTV and Discovery Channel. This expansive career across culture, commerce, and creativity became the foundation for an art practice unlike any other.
His work weaves together the influences of fashion, textiles, product, and graphic design, blended with the awe he first felt standing before the original Abstract Expressionist and Pop Art masters of the New York art scene.
What truly sets Scott’s work apart is his commitment to storytelling through deep research and a relentless search for new perspective. Before a single mark is made, he immerses himself in the life, culture, and mythology surrounding his subjects, unearthing overlooked narratives and reintroducing iconic figures in ways that shed new light on their legacy.
His conceptual process pays homage to the movements that forever changed how art is created and experienced, imagining collaborations blending his own unique style with influences from masters like Ad Reinhardt, Frank Stella, and Yayoi Kusama, or Pop Art visionaries like Andy Warhol, Chuck Close, and Richard Hamilton, brought together around legendary subjects from Kurt Cobain to Jimi Hendrix to Marilyn Monroe and Frank Sinatra.
Scott embraces process as central to his creative journey, rewarding viewers with ”winks” unexpected moments of discovery that reveal themselves each time they return to his work.
