Jeboni Ashanti is an Atlanta based interdisciplinary artist who views her creative practice as a divine extension of the self.

Eschewing a single style, Ashanti allows the energy of each piece to dictate its form, moving seamlessly between painting, woodworking, and fashion design. Her work is a "return to self", a series of acts of liberation aimed at freeing her bloodline through ancestral exploration.

Drawing inspiration from Ernie Barnes’ rhythmic soul, Virgil Abloh’s and Kanye West’s modern disruption, and the deep southern roots of gospel music, her art is often centered on a signature sunflower motif representing communal light.

Ashanti’s work captures a unique spiritual resonance, establishing her as a vital emerging voice in private collections across the contemporary South.
