Gallery Anderson Smith curates dialogue between cultures and art. We represent contemporary artists specializing in pop art and international figurative art. We curate, procure, and consult for museums, cultural institutions, arts organizations, and collectors in the US and abroad.

Anderson Smith founded the Gallery in September 2022, focusing on representing emerging artists from Atlanta, Georgia, and has since expanded that mission globally.

    MAMBOKA

    Joel Mamboka N’Kumu (b. 1990) is a mixed media artist who grew up in Kinshasha in the Democratic Republic of Congo and now lives and works in Cape Town. He uses oil paint, fabrics and found objects to create stories that exhibit a dynamic exploration of identity, culture and style that is deeply rooted in African heritage. His portraits often depict individuals in moments of joy, connection or introspection and he often uses vintage wallpaper textures with peeling surfaces and intricate designs to evoke nostalgia and a sense of history.

    DAN FERRER

    When Ferrer was a child, graffiti, skateboarding and comics filled his days. Due to these influences, he now runs his own creative studio (collaborating with international advertising agencies and brands) and continues to develop his own personal work, both in the street and the studio, on large format murals and canvases. His art has been seen in cities like New York, Rome, Milan, London, Frankfurt, Budapest, Madrid, Biarritz (France) or Durango (Mexico), among others.

    RAYMOND PICKENS

    Recognized for his large scale pop-art style portraits, Pickens draws inspiration from cultural icons such as Kobe Bryant, Muhammad Ali, Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley, and Amy Winehouse. His work is distinguished by its emotional resonance and its bold interplay of shadow, form, and expressive abstraction. Often set against rich, abstract backgrounds, his portraits create a dynamic tension between realism and imagination, inviting viewers into a vivid, layered visual experience.

    AMY MAZZETTA

    Having lived and worked extensively n the United States and Italy, Mazzetta’s work reflects a sustained dialogue with Italian fresco traditions, combined with the physicality of relief carving and the logic of the printmaking processes.

    She received her BFA from The Atlanta College of Art and an MFA from The University of Kentucky in Printmaking, Painting and Art History. For over a decade Mazzetta taught at the Atlanta College of Art and Woodward Academy continuing to lead workshops and private instruction. Mazzetta currently maintains studios in Atlanta, Georgia and Monteleone di Spoleto, Italy.
