Crystal Paris
Crystal Paris is a dynamic artist and designer, known for her distinctive style and vibrant blue hair. Her artistic career began at the renowned Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) – and from there, it went from strength to strength.
Her talent quickly garnered attention: her unique aesthetic impressed Tina Knowles-Lawson (the mother of global music icon Beyoncé), leading to a collaboration at the Wearable Art Gala – a showcase of wearable art that impressively demonstrated her ability to merge fashion and art. This was followed by an internship with Ye West, which broadened her horizons into new creative realms.
The National Museum of African American Music honored her work with an exhibition—a powerful testament to her cultural influence. Her solo exhibition "Ohemaa" at the Human and Civil Rights Museum in Atlanta impressively explored themes such as identity, equality, and social justice.
In the summer of 2023, she participated in an international group exhibition in Salzburg, where she further gained global recognition. Later that same year, she was invited by the LVMH Culture House to Art Basel Miami, where she presented works from her Basquiat-inspired Iconic Hair series.
A special milestone: Through a collaboration with SpaceBlue and SpaceX, her art became part of the first space mission with works by 222 artists and traveled to the moon - a visionary project that carried creativity beyond all boundaries.
Crystal Paris stands for continuous innovation, bold creativity and the pursuit of opening up new spaces with its art.
Crystal Paris is currently based in Berlin, Germany.
