Gabrielle Marquez creates work for individuals who see original art as something deeper than decor, affirming that paint allows her to capture a feeling, quiet, heavy, or unresolved, and give it form.

Marquez works primarily with acrylic on canvas, and tends to lean towards the large-scale. Her gallery and showcasing experience began with a collaborative exhibition alongside her partner, where her work gained traction among the Atlanta artist community. Her abstract pieces evoke a unique feeling within each new viewer, with inspiration from the universal interior.

She purposefully declines to name her pieces, for a more distinctive and bespoke viewing experience for each new gaze. Each canvas holds emotion, intention, and a moment one can return to. Her work isn’t meant to simply be looked at, but felt.
